Twin Springs Park
Some of the rockwork at the Twin Springs dates to about 1880. One spring
was said to contain small amount of arsenic, which was thought to cure stomach problems.
In January of 2003 the Siloam Springs Garden Restoration Club, an affiliate of the Arkansas State Federation of Garden Clubs, took on the task of restoring the Twin Springs park historic garden. Through the efforts of local businesses, citizens, and the City of Siloam Springs the garden has been replanted and maintained. The garden was partially funded through grants given by the National Garden Clubs, The Principal Financial Group & the Arkansas Heritage Foundation. Funds were also acquired through donations and fundraisers organized by the Siloam Springs Garden Restoration Club. This project is a true spirit of pride for the community of Siloam Springs.
En enero de 2003 ei “Siloam Springs Garden Restoration Club”, asociado con la “Arkansas State Federation of Garden Clubs” tomó sobre si la responsibilidad de restaurar el parque de “Twin Springs Park Histric Garden.” A través del esfuerzo de negocios de Siloam Springs, ciudadanos y la ciudad misma, este jardin a sido restaurado y mantenido. El “National Garden Club, el “ Principal Financial Group? y la “Arkansas heritage Foundation contribuveron fondos para ayudar en la restauración. Tambien levantaron fondos el “Siloam Springs Garden Club Restoration Club” a tqvés de donaciónes y por unas campañas organizadas por este club. Esta restauración ejemplifica el espíritu verdadero de orgullo que posee la comunidad de Siloam Springs.
