This is a thatched house that is used as a daily residence in the northern mountains of Thailand.

This is typical of many homes in this area. In this group of shelters, some walls are made of mud, some of woven slats. This is an active living abode.
There is no formal address for this small house. It is on a main paved highway (1338) leading northeast from the city of Chiangrai at the intersection of an unpaved road leading to the Ban Jatee School nine kilometers to the east. It is also near to the Sanphapayaphrai Forest Park 2.
Instructions for Visiting a Waymark: Proceed north from Chiangrai on National 1 and turn onto Hwy. 1338.
