This summit is in fact an Iron Age fort and the Trig. Point is in the middle of a wood surrouded by the walls of the fort.

Normally I would hide a geocache near this summit but because it is too far away from my home, I thought I would register a waymark.

All the Summits in Britain are catalogued and Radio Hams "activate" them by transmitting from the summits as part of the Summits on the Air Programme (www.sota.org.uk)

As they are on mountain tops they will be of interest to geocachers who are fell walkers.
