The Skalholt Visitors Center has a handful of displays about the history of this historical area which was one of Iceland's religious centers from over a 1000 years ago.
There is a new church here built on the site of the former Cathedrals.
No sign was noticed which explained (at least in English) whether this bell is from one of those earlier Cathedrals or just on display to evoke the history.
