Sequoioideae trees are often found in parks, but out in the forest they are quite uncommon in northwestern Switzerland.
This tree is located at a small forest track southeast of Rheinfelden, not far from a pedestrian bridge over the motorway. There is a small label that states it is a Sequoia, but not what species and what age.
