Conestoga Wagon - Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan - Covered Wagons on Waymarking.com

This covered wagon can be found on the property of a cattle ranch, located on TransCanada Highway 2, few kilometers south of the town of Moose Jaw (Saskatchewan) Canada.

The wagon is restored and functional. A sign fixed on it says that it was donated (to the owners) by Lawrence Hall and it was restored by Del Paton.

The name of the ranch is located on a large board, placed on a wagon near the entrance to the ranch. It was probably inspired by the wagon. Conestoga, the name of the ranch, is also the name of a large & heavy horse-draw covered wagon with broad wheels used by American & Canadian pionneers of the 19 century, as they traveled west.
The ranch is owned by Ryan & Pat Gibson.
