This is not an uncommon sign for Australians but it is for us Canadians. I was travelling with a group and the bus driver has been kind enough to stop his vehicle to give me the opportunity to take a picture.
Australia witnessed a spike in the number of serious incidents involving commercial aircraft using the country's airspace in 2012. Bats, rabbits, kangaroos and birds were killed in more than 1600 "strike" incidents. I am glad I didn't know that before flying from Alice Springs to Cairns the day after I took the pictures...
