Wikipedia (visit link) informs us:

"Akropoli metro station (Acropoli) is on Athens Metro Line 2. It opened on 16 November 2000 as part of the Dafni extension, and is the nearest station to the Acropolis Museum and the eastern entrance to the Acropolis of Athens. The station has a ticket office and three automatic ticket machines."
