The Red Cross Op-Shop is set in a high popsition overlooking the town centre and was originally the Old Methodist Church,the weatherboard and corrugated iron roofed building was constructed for the local Methodist Church in 1925, when a new place of worship, the Uniting Church was opened in 1982, the old church was bought by the Red Cross Society
