When I started looking for nearby palindromes (to Tinonee and Taree) this was the easiest to get to, and I had even been there a couple of days before looking for Waymarks to 'place'.
The toilet block for the park is only about 50 m further SE.
Wingham Brush Public (Primary) School, Wingham Library and Post Office lie to the East of Wynter Street. With the Court House and Community Centre, Police Station, St Joseph's Primary (Catholic) School, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Manning Valley Historical Society Museum lie to the South of Farquhar Street. On the West of Bent Street there is The Australian Hotel, Wingham District Memorial Services Club (RSL), The Bank Guest House and several dated buildings. And on the North side of Isabella Street there is the Wingham Chronicle office, Movieland, Radio Rhema 106.5 FM, the Wingham Anglican Op Shop; and in the Central Park a Public Playground, a water Fountain, and a Converted Fountain.
So now there are quite a few local waymarks to gather as well from around Central Park, including the de Havilland Vampire Jet plane static display.
No current geocaches, but I did hold a Terrain 5 Event in another corner of the park last year ("Where Pigs can Fly"!
