The Cathedral of Wroclaw was severely damaged during the Second World War, with about 70% of destruction. The rebuild of the edifice took about six years and the cathedral opened again in 1951.
In these photos you can see how the building looked after the Red Army bombed it in 1944 and then, how it looks now.
