This massive five story concrete nearly 700-foot long freight depot was constructed between 1911 and 1913. It remained in operation until the mid-1970's and has been vacant since. The building was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2004 with hope that with the available tax credits the building will be renovated for some use. This strategy has been successful for some nearby buildings.
