Eltz Manor in Vukovar is depicted on banknote of 20 Croatian kunas. This banknote is introduced in May 30, 1994. Banknote designers were Miroslav Sutej and Vilko Ziljak. The size of banknote is 130x65 mm, color of the banknote is red. On one side banknote depicts Ban Josip Jelacic and on the other side it depicts Eltz Manor in Vukovar and
the Vucedol Dove.
Eltz Manor was originally built between the period of 1749 to 1751 by the German Catholic noble House of Eltz and was gradually extended over time. The estates near the Military Frontier were however exposed to raids by Ottoman troops but also by local Hajduk paramilitary forces. Eltz Manor suffered a great deal of damage during the Croatian War of Independence in 1991, during the Battle of Vukovar. It was rebuilt after the war.
