This tree was a giant redwood (sequoiadendron giganteum) that grew near the city of Neuchâtel.
A part of it was brought to the zoo Pailiorama north of Kerzers. The tree ring display is located inside the main building, about between thr restaurant and the Jungle Trail hall.
