This small museum is hosted by a bucolic wooden house, which looks strange in this part of the city, surrounded by tall socialist style buildings.

It's fence features the communist style all around and then there is a garden. The exhibit is small and a bit confusing as it feels more like a private collection of assorted historical objects and newspapers cuts than a proper museum. Which is not a bad thing. It results lovely. Staff can't speak English but it's friendly and welcoming.

The mentioned Congress (Museum of the First Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party) took place here in 1923. The building was destroyed during the Second World War and then totally rebuilt.
