The plaque includes a lacy Victorian-style ladies' shoe that has the word Frauenspuren [English: Traces of Women] beneath it. From this, we discovered that there is a Traces of Women project in Salzburg that "is a belated tribute to famous historic women in Salzburg. Commemorative bronze plaques, mounted on the homes, birthplaces or places where these women worked are meant to rekindle interest." --Source (visit link)
