The Salvation Army has been in Ketchikan for at least one hundred years. The Salvation Army hall is listed in the 1915 R L Polk directory material concerning Ketchikan. The corps building and the thrift store (across the street at 301 Stedman) are appropriately located near the former red-light district of Creek Street.
