This mosaic "Hyttarbetare" (glass workers) is on the outer wall of the glass workshop of Johansfors Glass Works. It was designed by Bengt Orup, the artistic director of Johansfors Glass Works in 1954. The mosaic glass was produced at the factory.
It depicts workers in glass undertaking such activities as gathering (picking up molten glass on a blowing iron), working at the marver (steel table) at the glassblower's bench, mould-blowing and reheating.
