This old hand operated water pump is located in Soltanska Street in Zagreb, Croatia. A local group of street artists called "Pimp my Pump" decided to decorate all old hand operated water pumps in Zagreb with their designs and to make them more beautiful.
This pump does not operate today anymore. Such pumps were introduced in Zagreb by the end of 19th century, primarily in neighborhoods that were not connected to the municipal water supply. In Zagreb, those pumps were called "Iron Francek" or "Iron Martin".
