Located in front of the entrance to the former Fairview Elemenary School is a dated plaque, noting the construction date.

After 95 years of educating students, Fairview Elementary closed its doors in June, 2013. There was a recent article in the local Herald and News newspaper that mentioned the City of Klamath Falls donating the school to the local YMCA to take over the operation and management of this location.
