Community garden (croatian: gradski vrt) Sveta Klara is the first community garden in Croatians capital Zagreb.
Garden was opened in late spring of 2013, by mayor Milan Bandic. The residents received their own 50m² plot of land where they can garden and plant vegetables, herbs and flowers.
The plots are given to the residents for free, without additional charges. The only requirement is that they are the residents of the district and that they do not own any agricultural land. The Croatian war veterans and people with lower income have priority in the allocation of plots.
