I've stopped here frequently in the past while traveling to visit family. Located on top of a shady ridge, it offers the minimum in facilities. But what I enjoy here are the shaded picnic tables away from the rat race. Here I can enjoy a sack lunch in leasure. If the corn isn't too tall, I can even enjoy the distant view to the next ridge. I've even had a nap or two here if I was running a little early. Then it's time to finish the drive and have fun with the grandchildren.
