[FR] L'édifice élevé au-dessus de la fontaine Saint-Thibaut est construit lors de la restauration du domaine par la famille de Rothschild. Selon la légende, au XIIIe siècle, saint Louis enjoint l'abbé Thibaut de Marly de prier pour son épouse Marguerite de Provence, qui est stérile. Thibaut fait boire à la reine de l'eau de la fontaine. Exaucée, la reine met au monde onze enfants. L'eau de la source est depuis réputée pour favoriser la fécondité des femmes.
[EN] The structure protecting the Saint-Thibaut fountain was constructed at the time of the restoration of the property by the Rothschild family. According to the legend, in the 13th century, Saint Louis asked the abbot Thibaut of Marly to pray for his spouse, Marguerite of Provence, who was sterile. Thibaut made the queen drink the water of the fountain and subsequently bore eleven children. The spring water has since been reputed to improve the fertility of women.
