This colourful ship themed weather vane stands above the entrance to the Jersey Maritime Museum.

Set in four historic warehouses on the New North Quay of St Helier harbour, the Jersey Maritime Museum takes as its theme, the sea and our relationship with it. It reflects the experience of islanders and Jersey's Maritime heritage, both contemporary and historic.
It is therefore appropriate that their weathervane should consist of a 3 masted sailing ship. Looming up behind the ship is an alarmingly high wave that is about to wash over the ship.
