Canyon Hideaway is located in-between North 9th St and North 10th St, just behind the armory, in Hamilton, MT.
It is a community built park located in a much larger park (Claudia Driscoll Park).
The park has plenty of seating for the adults as their children romp and play in the castle like structure. It has twisty and bumpy slides, a tire swing, a tot lot for the little ones, and even a climbing wall.
Their is a soda machine and bathrooms. The bathrooms are only open in the summer season, but this is Montana and we all go visit the park no matter what the weather.
The park is only partually fenced in right now, but the rest of the work is supposed to be done by the Spring of 2007.
Park is open from dawn to dusk. (And the people living around it are pretty protective and have a tendency to call the cops when kids are there at 2am)
Parking is available on 3 sides of the park. You can park in the cul-de-sac on 9th St, along the fence on 10th, or next to the armory on the South side of the park. (Sorry little to no shade actually available in the parking spots, plenty in the park though.)
