Just south of Rifle Gap Reservoir is this nice little fishing area with picnic and restrooms that is designated for persons with disabilities. The paths are paved and level.

This small fishing/rest/picnic area is just north of Rifle Gap and south of the Rifle Gap Reservoir does not require any fees. The area features paved and level paths to the fishing area where a creek rushes past. Signage give disabled priority to use the fishing facilities.

There is also a historic sign explaining the 1971-72 Valley Curtain project by internationally renowned artists Cristo and Jeanne-Claude.

Colorado requires all people who fish to have a licenses. There are many types of Disability Licenses offered by the Colorado Department of Wildlife. Information may be found at (visit link) .
