This spring house is built around a natural spring as it comes from the granite formations at the temple. The enclosure is made of quarried granite with a sliding glass door. It feeds a nearby garden pond and is piped to provide the water supply for the temple complex.
Yeonsu Temple, or Hermitage is a small complex featuring a standing golden statue of the Goddess of Mercy and a grotto carved into the granite face of the mountain. It is not far from the larger and better known Nangja Temple which is home to several listed historical artifacts.
