Ever wonder how cucumbers are turned into delicious pickles? Ever wonder where Tony Packo's (of M*A*S*H fame) gets their condiments? Well, wonder no more! Sechler's Fine Pickles offers factory tours demonstrating how they take thousands of pounds of cucumbers every year and turn them into every flavor of pickle imaginable!
After the factory tour, you can also tour their showroom and purchase the pickles you just learned about, as well as many varieties of Amish-made foods such as noodles, jams, and butters, and of COURSE the aforementioned FAMOUS TONY PACKO'S line of items.
Tour hours are Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Please CALL AHEAD for groups larger than 5 people. They also offer one Saturday tour a year, during the annual St. Joe Pickle Festival.
