Lookout tower (orig. Aussichtsturm) near Illmitz, Neusiedlersee and Seewinkel National Park, Austria
The first Waymark of Rotary International marker in Austria can be visited on eastern shore of lake Neusiedlersee, near small town Illmitz.
It is 16 metres high lookout tower, till 1993 served for Hungarian army as watchtower on border - part of an
Iron Curtain.
After its demolition it has been
reconstructed in June 1994 by District 1910 of Rotary International organization.

Today, lookout tower serves especially for birdwatching from its platform 6 and half metres above ground.
