Sussex County, Virginia's World War I Memorial is actually a multi-war monument covering World War I and subsequent conflicts. It was installed in 1964.

This memorial is a simple plaque on a stone block. It lists the seven Sussex County citizens who died in World War I, as well as those from subsequent conflicts. The stone block is capped with a sundial.
