Inspired by similar community projects in western Europe, group of families in
Krasnany neighbourhood decided to build community garden called "
Krasnansky zelovoc".
Interestingly, they also installed one
Free Little Library in front of the gate into garden and called it
Krasnanska kniznica na stracej nozke.
White-painted little locker on wooden pole is accessible to anyone 24/7 to swap a book or two.
It is quite unique thing here in Slovakia yet, I know just few rumours that there exist other ones in Bratislava and other cities.
Certainly, there are not many of them yet. Inside the locker is place for 20-30 books - and one geocache. That's how I found it out.

V roku 2013 skupina susedov v Krasnanoch zalozila svoju komunitnu zahradu. Pred branku umiestnili bielu drevenu skrinku, ktora sluzi na vymenu kniziek ako mala kniznicka.
Je nepretrzite volne dostupna kazdemu, kto si tu chce vymenit knizku, ci dve. Vnutri je priestor pre 20-30 knih a - keska!
Drzim palce, nech sa kniznicke dlho dari naplnat svoju funkciu .. u nas je to vzdy riziko.
