Since 2010 you can take a ride on Wakeboardlift in Vienna, located on side-canal of river Danube near pedestrian bridge from Kaisermuhlen to Donau Insel.

The Vienna Wakeboardlift was founded in 2010 on side-canal of Danube river, close to pedestrian bridge Schleusenbrucke.

Wakeboardlift is created by Rixen cable car system with lenght of the track 832 metres supported by four 11-metres high poles. Currently, small and large kicker units ensure some variety on the circuit. Additional obstacles are planned. Season starts typically on May 1st and riders can enjoy calm water of Danube from 10am till sunset usually untill September.

One hour of ride costs 17 eur and season ticket up to 680 eur (2014). Rental of sportsgear (wakeboards, wakeskates, neoprenes, helmets, vests) available in the wakelake area.
