This is a great musuem to take kids to. The glass is spectacular and there is a hot shop exhibit where local glass artists are working that is open for the public to view. Be sure to also visit the Bridge of glass and the sculptures on the different plaza levels as you walk down to the museum entrance from the Pacific Avenue level. This outdoor area is free and leads down to a promenade along the Thea Foss Waterway. Nearby see the Chihuly installations in the Union Station, and visit the Washington State History Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum.
