The monument is topped by an urn, with a setting sun above each face. The main face has the family name at the base, and the following inscription:

Two of the faces feature a dove, while the remaining face has a psychopompos and "From Death to Eternal Life." above it. Some of the monument's screws have disappeared over time, and the manufacturer, the Detroit Bronze Co., Detroit, Mich. is identified on the base.
