The depicted Baroque portal on enclosing wall surrounding complex of Residentia Orlickiana in Olomouc was constructed in 1751.
Olomouc is unique by its church' district with 14 palaces of canons of the Metropolitan Chapter of St. Wenceslas, Baroque palace "Residentia Orlickiana" is one of them. The residence has a Gothic and Renaissance court wing at its heart. The wall with a stone portal and illusory facade enclosing a rectangular courtyard in the west were established in 1751, when the residence was occupied by Franz Ludwig, Graf Serenyi.
