A group of three crosses is a Christian symbol in memory of Jesus Christ being crucified, along with two robbers on either side of him.

In this case the crosses are made of stone attached to the wall of a viewing platform that has 78 steps leading up to it from the road. Alternatively it is possible to approach the top of the platform from the rear, where the road has some parking spaces.
The road up to the crosses passes the town cemetery and ends at the rear of the platform. The platform is 1/2 mile from the main square of the town in a straight line, but by road is approximately 2 miles away.
Because the road is a dead end it is almost traffic free above the cemetery, but if walking to it care should be taken to watch out for traffic.
