This peace monument can be seen near Patuxai arch in Vientiene, the capital city of Laos.

This gong is sheltered by a beautifully decorated gazebo and can be seen in a city park near Patuxai arch, arguably the most important landmark of Vientiene.
It was a gift from the World Peace Committee of the Republic of Indonesia to the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and it was inaugurated in November 2008.
In the gong one can see symbols of all major religions surrounded by the flags of all the countries of the world.
