This sculpture by local artist Francisco Martin Molina is a reminder of the touristic train called Cochinita which served from the beginning of the 20th century to the end of the 1960's, along the Malage coast.
The plaque reads:
Tren Negro, Matagallinas o Cochinita
Al tren que desde principios del siglo XX hasta finales de los anos 60 unio y comunico la comarca de la axarquia con malaga era la linea ventas de zafarraya-malaga a este de montana y costa, de recuerdos y anecdotas, a este tren, este sencillo homenaje
