This mailbox has been painted to show a sunset at the entrance to the nearby harbour at the popular holiday destination on the island of Mallorca.

The mailbox is on the side of a house on the promenade next to the beach. The depicted scene is visible from the location of the house.
Port De Soller has a semi circular bay and there are lighthouses on the headlands that form the entrance to the bay. There are actually three lighthouses, the lower one on the right hand side is no longer in use and has been replaced by the one at the higher level.
I have taken a picture of the real view, but in my case the picture was taken on a rather dull day with no sun visible.
