Die Osthafenbrücke ist eine Straßenbrücke über den Main in Frankfurt am Main. Sie verbindet das Frankfurter Ostend nördlich des Mains mit der Gerbermühlstraße (Bundesstraße 43) in Sachsenhausen.
Errichtet wurde eine stählerne Stabbogenbrücke mit einfach gekreuzten Hängern, eine sogenannte Nielsenbrücke, ohne Strompfeiler mit einer Stützweite von 175 Metern.
Baubeginn war am 12. September 2011, vom 20. bis 23. August 2012 wurde die 2200 Tonnen schwere Stahlkonstruktion auf ihrem Montageplatz um 90 Grad gedreht und auf zwei im Main schwimmende Pontons geschoben. Anschließend folgte das Einschwimmen in die endgültige Position. Die Brücke wurde am 10. Dezember 2013 dem Verkehr übergeben.
The Osthafenbrücke is a road bridge over the river Main in Frankfurt. It connects the Ostend of Frankfurt north of the Main with the Gerbermühlstraße (Bundesstraße 43) in Sachsenhausen.
Erected was a tied arch bridge with simple crossed hangers, a so-called Nielsen bridge without river piers and a span of 175 meters.
Construction began on 12 September 2011, from 20 to 23 August 2012, the 2200-ton steel structure was turned on its mounting space by 90 degrees and slid on two floating pontoons in the Main. Subsequently followed the movement into the final position. The bridge was opened to traffic on 10 December-2013.
