This is the Town Clock of Werningerode, Germany, Sachsen-Anhalt. It is mounted at the Town Hall.

The year of creation of the clock is unknown.
The clock has golden Roman literals on black and green.

The dominant building was first mentioned in 1277. In 1492 it has been enlarged with a festival hall. It received its present appearance after a fire (1521) and a further modification in the years 1539-1544.

It is considered one of the most beautiful town halls in Europe.
