This old jail is part of the RCMP Museum at the CPR Station Museum located at 400 13th Avenue.

The RCMP old detachment building was relocated to the museum in 1992 and is open to the public during regular business hours.
Inside is a collection of RCMP documents, billy clubs, uniforms and other memorabilia on display. In the adjacent room is the jail used when the detachment was active.
In 1934 the B.C. Provincial Police, now known as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, relocated to this building that was once located on Columbia Avenue.
