Little Free Library #3697 can be found at the southeast corner of 2nd St. and Catalpa in a residential neighborhood of Lexington. The city currently has 12 Little Free Libraries/free book exchanges placed in residential neighborhoods, parks, and inside businesses.
Recently, the bridge over the Canadian River that links the very small city of Lexington to the bigger city of Purcell was closed by the state due to structural concerns. This bridge closure left the residents with no easy access to a public library, so these Little Free Libraries are a much needed and appreciated resource.
This library is accessible 24/7, but please be respectful of the neighbors nearby.
