Simple metal water lock on Sursky canal can split its waters by elevation difference up to 1 meter.

Sursky canal is approx. 13kms long, man-made catch-water drain in the southwest of Slovakia. It’s fed by defluent waters from Small Carpatians mountains that flow into Small Danube river. It was built in 1956-1957 around the National Nature Reserve Sur. The drain mouth to Small Danube river is located two kilometres behind the village of Ivanka pri Dunaji.
