This beautiful angel sculpture is located in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. It is placed on the tombstone of the Remillard family.
It really touched me because we do not often see angels in a posture so sad and distressed. The artist was able to make the perfect arm movement that falls softly and gives a very realistic look to this angel with beautifulwings.
While searching the web, I found several replicas of this desperate angel elsewhere in the world.
I called it "Beauté Désespérée" which is the translation of the title of the well known TV show Desperate Housewives.
Cette superbe sculpture d'ange est située dans le Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Elle est placée sur la pierre tombale de la famille Rémillard.
Elle m'a beaucoup touchée car on ne voit pas souvent d'anges dans une posture aussi triste et affligée. L'artiste a su rendre à la perfection le mouvement du bras qui tombe mollement et qui donne une allure très réaliste à cet ange aux ailes magnifiques.
En cherchant sur le web, j'ai trouvé plusieurs répliques de cet ange désespéré ailleurs dans le monde.
