Visited here on 03 Aug 2013 as part of a caravan of 17 RVs from the US touring the Maritime Provinces of Canada. At this stop, we stayed in Pippy Park Campground, St John's, Newfoundland, CA.
Significance for us is that we started 2013 (01 Jan) in San Diego, CA, the southwestern corner of North America. Not the farthest west, nor the farthest south but yes the farthest southwest. Check the map. So we traveled diagonally across the continent. Awesome.
