Siden 1898 har man kunne få de kendte havregryn på lolland.
Da fabrikken i Maribo brændte i 1913 flyttede man til Nakskov.
I 1917 var der en brand på fabrikken i Nakskov. Efter branden byggede man op til det man kender i dag.

Den gang fabrikken lå i nakskov lavede man havregrynene koks og kul varme.
I dag laves der med gasvarme, og fabrikken er nu flyttet til england.
OTA solgryn ejes i dag af Pepsi som er kendt for deres cola.
