Café de Paris had its heyday in the 50's, when all sorts of celebrities would hangout around here. In the window one can see some photos depicting those sweet days. Morani and J.P. Belmondo, Silvester Stallone and Henry Fonda. Some well known names who once had a coffee in this place.
In 2008 the Italian Justice confiscated the coffee on account of its association with mafia families from Calabria and the business is now run by a commission who has the task of managing business and properties confiscated in these conditions.
It's located in the iconic avenue, Via Venetto, and surrounded by other famous coffee houses and hotels. Oh, and to the USA embassy.
