Hallgrímskirkja is a very beautiful church in Reykjavik. Its iconic tower is 74 meters high and from it we have an outstanding view of the city.

Its form (columns side by side) is inspired on basalt columns formed in volcanic eruptions. The construction of the church began in 1945 and was finished only in 1986.

One of the most notable things is the pipe organ with 5275 pipes that can be seen here.
