"Centro Explicativo e de Acolhimento da Calçadinha de São Brás de Alportel. Such is the full name of this visitor center, dedicated to the preserved segment of an old Roman road which would go all the way from here to the nearby village of Estói, by then an important Roman outpost.
One can find his way to the Roman road on his own but it's always nice to stop by and check extra information. It might be closed even if one visits during opening times.
